Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly preparing a £15 million January bid for West Ham United transfer target Ruslan Malinovskyi.
That’s according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport who claim that Spurs boss Antonio Conte is very keen to bring the 51-capped Ukraine international to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the January transfer window.
That’s bad news for West Ham, because David Moyes allegedly wants to bring Ruslan Malinovskyi to the London Stadium as well.
The Hammers clearly have our work cut-out now, with Tottenham reportedly preparing a January bid for the 29-year-old attacking midfielder.
And to add insult to injury, the Atalanta ace reportedly dreams of joining Tottenham as well.
It really does seem like the East London outfit could be fighting a losing battle here doesn’t it…
Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Spurs are eyeing up a winter move to sign Ukrainian ace Ruslan Malinonvskyi.
It has been suggested that the Serie A side will demand around €30 million (£26 million) for the Ukraine international.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport reckon that Tottenham could win the race for him with a £15 million January bid.
What a deal that would be for Spurs. And it would very much be their gain and West Ham’s loss.
Malinovskyi has bagged 30 goals and 28 assists in 142 games for Atalanta (Transfermarkt). A goal involvement every 2.4 games isn’t bad at all.
The 29-year-old possesses outstanding technical ability and is really good when in possession of the football.
He has plenty of energy and possesses the ability to beat a man. He has an absolute rocket of a shot in his arsenal as well.
A couple of years ago, Chelsea legend Claude Makelele was trying to push the Ukrainian ace towards a move to Stamford Bridge, according to The Daily Mail.
So he clearly has something special about him.
Breaking The Lines describe the left-footed Ukraine international as an ‘incredible’ player.
I would absolutely love to see the 29-year-old arrive at the London Stadium in the January transfer window.
It seems as though that won’t be happening though, with Tottenham eyeing up a January bid for Malinovskyi.
And that’s a real shame.
