The Trump-Kushner family watched Brazil vs. Serbia and England vs. USMNT
Former first daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner sat with Qatar’s Prime Minister Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani on Thursday as they watched Brazil defeat Serbia.
Trump, 41, had recently stated she would no longer participate in politics amid her father’s announcement that he’ll be running for a second presidential term in 2024.
“I love my father very much,” Ivanka said. “This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.
“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” she added. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments.”
The Trump-Kushner family, including Arabella, 11, Joseph, 9, and Theodore, 6, watched Brazil vs. Serbia before heading to another stadium for England vs. USMNT.
Kushner, 41, was also spotted speaking with Qatari billionaire businessman and Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Considering Ivanka’s statement declaring her retirement from politics, it’s likely that she and Jared were simply there as guests of the Qatar PM, as Kushner has forged relationships with various Middle Eastern leaders.
When he was Donald Trump‘s presidential advisor, Kushner traveled to the Middle East on multiple occasions to negotiate peace talks.
Their World Cup visit comes after the Trump-Kushner family spent the past few days vacationing in Egypt.
