The WWE’s remaining Premium Live Event calendar is just as stacked as ever, with SummerSlam scheduled for August 5 at Ford Field in Detroit. But, while the WWE is scheduled to tour around America, as per the usual, the recent buzz is about its second PLE in Saudi Arabia for the year.
According to the reports, WWE is headed back to the Land of the Two Holy Mosques for another wrestling spectacle, and the date is already set.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics has reported that the next WWE extravaganza in Saudi Arabia will drop on Saturday, November 4th. This event is neatly scheduled three weeks ahead of the Survivor Series on November 25, giving WWE fans a double dose of bone-crunching, high-flying action for the month of November.

Since 2018, the WWE has embraced a fruitful partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority, resulting in two PLEs in Saudi Arabia every year. While the COVID-19 pandemic forced a hiatus in 2020, the WWE has faithfully returned to the agreement, rolling out the carpet twice a year for a decade of thrilling shows. The first Saudi Arabian event of the year, the Night of Champions, gave audiences the usual edge-of-seat entertainment and plot twists, which saw The Usos help Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn take the win over Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa while Seth Rollins became the first World Heavyweight Champion over AJ Styles.
So, what can we expect from the November event? If tradition is anything to go by, this event is likely to be called Crown Jewel. While there’s no official confirmation, it’s quite plausible considering the previous Crown Jewel event’s wild success. Last year’s Crown Jewel was one for the books as Roman Reigns triumphed over Logan Paul to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Title.
Looking ahead, the November PLE in Saudi Arabia promises to continue the tradition of unforgettable moments and high-stakes matches. Due to the long flight to Saudi Arabia, WWE will likely tape the November 3 episode of SmackDown a week prior, during the October 27th SmackDown event. This early taping ensures everything runs smoothly in the lead-up to the PLE.
The WWE has been on an absolute roll this year. Friday Night SmackDown, in particular, is constantly breaking and setting new records. Last week’s episode saw The Bloodline storyline reach another peak in the first episode following Jey Uso‘s pin over the Tribal Chief at Money in the Bank.
Something tells us that this feud is still far from over, but with at least a handful of PLEs more to go until then, we can only guess what the WWE has in store for us fans.
Who knows? Brock Lesnar, a crowd favorite in Saudi Arabia, might have set his eyes on someone else by then. Maybe it’ll be Gunther, or maybe it’ll be Drew McIntyre, but, why not both? Brock Lesnar could even feud with Seth Rollins for the new World Heavyweight Championship belt, potentially paving the way for a last-minute Money in the Bank briefcase cash-in by Señor Money in the Bank, Damian Priest.
Of course, these are all theories. At the moment, it’s best that we just sit tight and wait for whatever spectacle comes our way. After SummerSlam (August 5), the next set of PLEs is as follows: PayBack (September 2) and Fastlane (October 7).
